Artist's Comments

I am proud(ish) to annouce the official DIOD meme (Lite) is now avaialbe! It can be filled in by artists, sewers, writers and more alike, so don't be shy! Check it out here: [link]

Yeah, it's, uhh... it's silly. It all started here... [link] ..and I said:

"...with the tenth Doctor, you can really make anything look like him if you get the clothes and hair well enough. Even a rock. Seriously, even a rock."

...and so... I dressed up a rock. I really have -- somehow -- it was just -- I just wanted to see what it ended up looking like, okay?! Geez!
Mmm... goggly eyes! (aka googly eyes)

He's really cute! I put him in a wallpaper, here: [link]

Other stuff in the "Dressing Inanimate Objects as the Doctor 'Series'"*:

- ~Anakoreta's adorable Mugtor!
[link] Another of mine. yes... it IS a peanut.

And yes, the border is rough on purpose. I am capable of stright lines. Especially in PS CS3.

Man... I need a tablet. It would probably be really hard to get used to though - drawing in one place and the image appearing in another. Should I be looking at my hand to get the shape right, or the screen to see what I've done? If I lift up the pen, how do I put it back in the same place? CAN I? What about those tablets that double as a screen - are any of those capatable with a laptop, however powerful? I just don't know...

The show and characters of "Doctor Who" are property of BBC and their respective creators.

*That is, the DIOD Series; and the DIOD motto: "We Do This For... Some Reason". Ahh... words to live by.

It just proves my point about how distincitve he is doesn't it? Which is why the bear version of the 10th Doctor actually... worked. Although I only made him because the original bear had a pinstripe suit.. and... stripes... they just look... Doctorish.

You know, if it weren't so hard to find brown pinstripe fabric, I'd enjoy making my own little army of Roctors. Maybe get a sharpie and doodle a bunch of crazy expressions while I was at it. :noes: I sound crazy now.

Ten's becoming the most recognizable Doctor out there, with the exception of Four.

I hate television. I hate it as much as peanuts. But I can't stop eating peanuts.

Yes he has - then again the fourth is very distinctive too! So the 4th Roctor would also work!
We could always make pretend pinstripes. Getting brown and drawing on blue would be easiest but wouldn't really work (the blue's too light) so get blue and draw on really thick brown! ...maybe not.
Then again, people use pinstripe for things like... curtains... and cushions... do you think your parents would notice if you sliced up the drapes in the living room?

My mum definitly would, otherwise my Dad would wonder why on earth there was a small army of pinstriped wild haired pencils, toasters, TV remotes, and more had suddenly manifested in my bedroom.

I think light-ish blue fabric coupled with a chocolate brown sharpie might work, or you could painstakingly make your own with white fabric and blue and brown sharpies.

I really considering making my own 'Roctor' sort of thing in PS. (If you don't mind that is. (: )

If I can't trust an internet celebrity who watches cartoons and shouts obscenities, then who can I trust?

Yes, the blue fabric is probably the best option.
And yes, you may make a Roctor! Please put a link here and let me know when it's up and I'll link yours too! :D
